Does anyone know the song that plays around 25 minutes, during the monologue between Paulo and his girlfriend - "They eat, smoke, sleep together, they listen to music..." - fantastic piano / electronic drums / semi-operatic new romanic vocals - then cuts to Mona licking the breast of a statue.
Doesn't seem to be listed in the soundtrack, would be great to know what it was!!

shareI actually tracked down the person credited with writing the song and emailed him. This was his reply:
"You are bringing me way back in years and though I remember this session I don't remember much more, I don't think I ever had a copy of the song and the only person who might have that is Agnès herself, but unfortunately I lost track ever since and I couldn't tell you how to reach her. I guess if you buy the movie on DVD you can find it. Sorry if I can't be of much help. If I ever find something I'll let you know.

That was back in June 2012 and I haven't heard back from him, so it looks like only someone able to contact Agnès would have hope of finding the recording...
Oh, I liked that song too. Pity if it's not available anywhere. It's apparently one of these pieces of film music, which is written specifically for a film, and is not available anywhere else but inside the film itself. Another such example is "The Pub Song" from the movie Educating Rita.
shareI PAUSED THE MOVIE TO SHAZAM THE SONG AND AFTER AN EXTENSIVE RESEARCH I ENDED UP HERE. The only thing i can say is that it ressembles the sound of the song "dont delete the kisses" by the band wolf alice (as if kate bush was the one singing it)!!
