This one has to be the least favorite one for me out of all of them. Yes that includes 5. I mean come on Apollo dies in this one cause Drago had to be such a deusche. It was like he had no regard for human life whatsoever. Plus with the exception of Hearts On Fire I thought the soundtrack sucked.

IV is my favorite of the group, V sucks donkey dicks. Funny I thought the Hearts on Fire song was kinda lame. We all like different things, funny how you think this is the worst Rocky movie and I think it's the best. Lol
shareI agree with you in some respects. While the boxing in Rocky was already over the top the films still had storylines that were plausible overall. There is nothing plausible about Rocky IV's story. By the time Rocky IV came along Sylvester Stallone was in full action star mode and no longer cared about solid drama. If you view Rocky IV as a super hero Boxing movie then it's not that bad. But it's far removed from what made people love the character and the series in the first place.
Fortunately the franchise would eventually be redeemed in terms of returning to its more dramatic roots.
Part 2 already was a lesser sequel to the original. In part 3 they ventured into silly territory and by part 4 it was full blown stupid. But great entertainment. Now part 5 that was just bad. Boring and badly made.
