Throwing Money Away

I just remembered this film, I haven't seen it in over fifteen years, probably more. Anyway, I grew up in Clovenstone/Baberton Mains and vaguely remember a scene that was filmed in Clovenstone where they drove through, throwing money away.
I also remember the kids (who were just lcoals) catching the money and spending it in all the shops in the area (until the shops became aware of this).
I was only about 5 years old at the time, so I may have got some of the details mixed up. Anyone else remember this?

I remember it too..
My girlfriend was living just a stones throw down the road from the overpass they rode over on the bike. This film is on it's way to me from Tesco Dvd rental. I'm looking forward to some cool memories.
