RED HEAT uncut

I have reviewed this film, 1 of 3 from the newly released Panik House Entertainment and have heard that this cut of Red Heat is not the uncut version of the film. Can anyone help me to find the original running time, any links verifying this fact on to the scene or scenes that were edited out of the film, or which edition of the film is the most complete? Any help at all helping me find out this or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks~

Go into Amazon's page for this upcoming DVD release (the one where RED HEAT is on a triple-bill with CHAINED HEAT and JUNGLE WARRIORS) & read the very first customer review where it's mentioned that the version of this film on the disc is cut. Then go into the comments within this review. I believe someone posted a link there to an article discussing this in detail.

I just finished watching Panik's release of "Red Heat". The movie is nicely restored and in W/S but if I am not mistaken there are at least 3 missing longer scenes cuts.
I own LD Rip (clocking time 104''). This one has long scene of Linda and her boyfriend in German hotel (just after arriving) which is nice intro to love scene and "famous" scene with Kristel an guard which was completely taken out from Panik's release (such a stupid butchery).
There is also missing scene which I would call "first prison shower scene". It takes place just after photo session in German prison.
I have that scene on VHS Rip (running time 102'').
I can not remember if anything else is missing...

You have a Laserdisc of "Red Heat" that clocks in at 104 minutes? Wow, that truly is the full version. Is it really longer even than the old VHS? I'm asking because I always assumed the original VHS, and the version they used to play on late night cable tv were the full versions. I always thought of "Red Heat" as one of the best films in the genre. It has a nice, polished look to it, rather than the cheap look of some of the other ones, like "Chained Heat." I was really disappointed when I got the German dvd, as it is also cut. I cannot figure out why this particular film is so heavily censored, when there is much nastier stuff out there that is not cut..
