no the evil princess survied and reappeared in the show
Well then it was an ATTEMPTED homicide! What kind of values does that teach our children? By the way, Rainbow Brite shoulda used a gun. That would've been much more effective than a rainbow.

Rainbow Brite has the most powerful weapon in the world. Her rainbow belt, rainbow attack, can ravage anything in its path!
shareTrue. The press has called her "the raver girl strangler", doncha know..
"First you ask if you can be red, knowing that I'm always red."
Well, hey, consider the Princess for a moment:
Spectra is the source of life for like the entire galaxy. Rainbow says plainly that if Spectra gets taken away or destroyed, lots of people will die. The Princess knew this and yet she tried to take it anyway, and when she couldn't she tried to destroy it.
Frankly I think Rainbow was justified in trying to kill such a psychopath.
Besides, it didn't look like Rainbow did it on purpose to me.
But anyway, aren't we taking it a little too seriously? It's just a movie, right?
King_Kestrel is just trying to stir up trouble.
Dr. Peter Venkman: NOBODY steps on a church in my town.
You can't say some one is a killer with out knowing the reason pepole do kill only if they have to sometimes we have no choose to take a life. Like in a robbery or somthing if the person is that dangerous we have to kill sometimes we kill to save a life police do it.

My take on this (and I realize this is a years old thread): Rainbow Brite is roughly the equivalent of a cop on her world. Like cops in the real world, she can take a life, but only if necessitated by the circumstances. As depicted there wasn't time to apprehend the Princess using non-lethal methods, and the Princess needed to be stopped before she could implement her plan to avoid far worse consequences. I think Rainbow Brite made the same call an honest cop would have in comparable circumstances.
But yeah, regardless of whether the Princess was later revived, what I learned from this was, Don't [BLEEP] with Rainbow Brite!
Charging Rainbow Brite with murder in a place like Spectra is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.
