A real "gut-punch" of an ending. (Obvious SPOILERS)


Wow, I did not see that ending coming. I haven't been affected by a conclusion like that in a really long time.
It was so depressing, except incredibly fitting. She wouldn't have a good life with the actor, even if he was sincere.
I was so happy to see her smile at the end though. I'd like to think it means she's going to have a good life, and move on. At least she won't have to care for her deadbeat husband anymore. Maybe she goes back to him. Who knows. But I'd like to think she moves on with her life in a realistic manner.

I love the ending. The shot of him sitting on the plane contemplating what he did is my favorite part of the film.
