Blu-ray review for 'Jackie Chan: Crime Story/The Protector'

For fans of Jackie Chan who are looking to expand their collection, this Blu-ray is a fun double feature to have. Personally it’s worth getting just for "Crime Story", and "The Protector" is just an added bonus. Sure, this release could have had more time spent on it to make it something really special, but for now this will do.

I hadn't seen the full movie since I was a kid and it was on one of those local stations that showed movies and tv show re-runs all the time (like WGN nowadays), and I just finished watching the U.S. cut and it was amazing seeing just how awesomely 80's the movie is. Uzis, a rocket launcher, the whole buddy cop thing, a slow clap, the partner dying at the beginning and the surviving one taking revenge for his death, random nudity, f-bombs and s-bombs galore, a gang of punks with chains and mohawks and such, giant senseless explosions, etc.
