Isn't he absolutely scary?I mean,as Marlon Brando in the god father,He is highly Improbale as a Sicilian man,but I think he's damn convincent as an (unbelivably) old and horrible man.When I was little he always remind me of the bank-chief of Mary Poppins:)))What a good cast choice!

Although can be pretty delightful and funny in a second he can transforms himself into terryfing monster. Brrr... That's what is most fantastic in the best villians. Kudos to awesome William Hickey who played Don Corrado.
shareDon Corrado - Corrado, the name reminds me of Junior Soprano, the uncle of Anthony from the HBO production "The Sopranos". And yes, the casting was excellent! He may not be Brando, but he has his own and unique way of playing a mob boss.
shareI may be amoral but having read il padrino before seeing the movie I totally could'nt see a sex beast as Brando playing what was described as a fat,short,sicilian looking man.

I agree! His portrayal of the Don was amazing. I looked for pictures of William Hickey on Google images, and found some from the 1960s. He was a nice looking guy in his younger days!
shareSorry to spoil the party and all but his acting went way over board and he was at times obnoxious with his pronunciation, just got on my nerves, whereas John Randolph, Robert Loggia, Jack Nicholson and Lee Richardson were all terrific. This however is just my opinion, so don't hang me by the balls.
