exaggerated sound effects are annoying

The two examples that come to mind were when the Meat was hiding behind the couch and the man was flicking cigar ashes on his head along with the annoying dubbing of his constant gum smacking and chomping. It makes those scenes hard to watch. I noticed the police academy sequels had the same issues.
