Revenge on Mauser; shower scene

That was a real mean trick they played on Mauser in the shower. To use that liquid plastic to stick his hands to his hair and then for one them to use his talent to pretend to be a dog and scare him that he was going to get bitten there. I under stand Mauser was hard on the recruits but sheesh, that was real nasty trick to play on him. I mean at the end of the day they guy only wanted to be Captain. They seemed to have it in for the poor guy and to humilate him as much as they could.

I know it's terrible.

I also hate the mean trick everyone plays on Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense.

And the Hi-jinks Kevin Spacey and Gwyneth Paltrow play on Brad Pitt in Se7en.

It's a film for crying out loud, and a really silly play everything for laughs kind of film!!!e

Well, the scene is funny, first of all. But Mahoney does that to get revenge on Mauser after reassigning him and Vinnie to the tunnel duty. And remember, Mauser was out for himself. He probably let those gang members go to make Lassard look bad.

Dont't forget Mauser was the one that sent two officers into an armed robbery with no backup, not just bending rules to get promoted, but endangering lives to get ahead. He's a scumbag!

reply

It's the harshest prank he ever played in his four movies. Even Harris never copped a trick as mean as that from Mahoney.

reply

He was a jackass, okay? He deserved it. He even tried to set it up so he would end up being Captain. I wonder about the dropping of the charges.

reply

Nah it was mean, and then for them to pretend that the dog was in there with him, was just evil. He was worried that the dog would bite him there.

I still found that scene funny. I'll bet after they locked him out of the room, they all fell down on the floor laughing their asses off.
