How does Pee Wee make a living?

Seriously. He has no family. He has all these toys and gadgets. A house. Where does he get the money to live?

reply

We don't know.

But, we can assume that he doesn't really spend much money. He doesn't drive a car or go out for drinks at night. He doesn't have to support a wife and kids. His big expenses are magic props, bike accessories, and food.

I think we are to assume that he got a moderate sized inheritance from his family and that he spends it slowly.

I don't think we are supposed to THINK about it lol

Benefits?

There's a lotta things about Pee Wee we don't know anything about. Things we wouldn't understand. Things we couldn't understand. Things we shouldn't understand.

reply

lol

Remember the magic words: "Please", "Thank you" and "Step off bitch!"

reply

like bing, I thought he inherited a lot of money.

reply

Tell me you are looking for logic and reality in this movie.

reply

I don't think the people who made this movie intended for you to think like that. As long as the subject came up, I think it could be government benefits; the guy isn't mentally normal.

reply

lololol, omg, your explanation is hilarious and absolutely REASONABLE, omg, this is just too much, and because it's 110% reasonable and grounded in reality, it is even funnier. You're absolutely right. That is the answer.

And btw, this is a very good question. The house is very well taken care of - even if he doesn't have to pay mortgage on it, he still needs to do repairs and pay for utilities, of course, plus land taxes, plus food and all the toys - it takes a lot of money, even for one person.

if I didn't reply you're a dick

reply

I was actually going to say the same thing. He is obviously living on Social Security. He doesn't quite have it all put together.

"I don't make monkeys, I just train 'em."

"No, not the mind probe!"

reply

That was my thought. He's a monkey trainer.

reply

My favorite part about this line is how he has a monkey help him save the animals in the pet shop.

He's just a gigolo and everywhere he goes,
People know the part he's playin'.
Pay for every dance, sellin' each romance,
Ooohh what they're sayin'?
There will come a day, when youth will pass away,
What will they say about him?
When the end comes he'll know, there was just a gigolo's
Life goes on without him.
