Instead of a remake...

Why not a film about the Great War in Africa? That's the only part of the film that makes me beg for more. I know that it wasn't the point of the film, but the early call to arms to fight the Germans is very intriguing to me (as well as Karen's delivery of supplies). I'd love to have a film about that war in the region. Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck (the German commander in theater) wrote a memoir and there are other primary sources so it could be done very well in my opinion. The 100 year anniversary of the Great War is going on right now so it would be a great time to film it.
