An absolute beauty ---

The line by Antonio Salieri from Amadeus comes to mind..."An absolute beauty," upon reading some Mozart compositions. On the personal side, I was gratified to hear Coleridge's Ancient Mariner quoted in the film since I created a prizewinning cinematic visualization of the epic poem a decade earlier than this movie's release. I also used a piece from Mozart in my production, also used in this indescribably beautiful film by the late Sydney Pollack. Pollack is one of the few actors who successfully transitioned to director. He had a wonderful ability...well displayed in this timeless movie. Sadly, I'm not certain that a movie like this poetic vision could be budgeted in today's darker, grotesque world.
