Totally agree. I mean who the @uck did the sound track ? Whoever it was needs to be shot they killed the movie.

I saw the film years ago, and bought it on VHS sometime later, which contained the same version, so imagine my horror when I bought it on DVD to be confronted with that horrible version, with completely different music and even a different voice dubbing Bruce Lee. To find that they've repeated such a stupid act and released the version we all hate on Bluray, really makes you wonder who makes those decisions. It costs a company money to package and release a movie in a new format, so I can't understand how it got this far with no one asking questions.

Nostalgia can make one lose perspective. The DVD/Blu-ray version is the director's cut that was also the theatrical version. The version you love is the retooled video version with extra scenes to compensate for the removal of badly acted shots.
