How do people not realize that this is purposeful comedy?

This may not be the best movie ever, but it's not nearly as bad as the majority of reviews and ratings. It's supposed to be funny, and they do a good job of it for the most part. Colonel Honey Hump, midget hit squad, Homo-sexual nazi villain in a wheek chair whith a pet monkey, the fact that the army guys were carrying a case of beer the whole time they were fighting thier way towards the camp... it's obviously not meant to be taken seriously.

I thought it was pretty fun.

This movie is funny indeed.

It should be noted that the evil dude in the wheelchair is the father of Anthony Kiedis; lead singer of my favorite band, Red Hot Chili Peppers!!
