Mark Patton - Underrated performance

Ironically, of all the sequels, this movie had the best quality of actors. It's too bad they were stuck with this material. Mark Patton himself gave an interview recently talking about how even at the time he didn't appreciate the movie, but tried to do his best with what was handed to him.

Mark Patton is kind of awesome in this movie.

I was genuinely surprised by how moving his performance was. The premise and plot is outrageous but he gives a moving performance as this frail, tortured, teen on the edge of sanity. Considering how outlandish some of the sequels got, I went into this movie expecting to laugh... and there IS some dark humor. But Mark Patton's performance made the whole thing seem very real, and very scary!
