More Canon than the rest of the series

I've thought about it and this one is indeed more canon than the rest of the series. Now it's called "A Nightmare on Elm Street" right? Which implies the nightmare is on elm street. Now i'm sure most true Elm Street fans have rolled their eyes at that guy like "Stay off of Elm Street Freddys gonna get you" as if he is saying Freddy is only contained to one street. But i mean that is what the title of the movie implies. So in this case it should really be all about the House which Freddy's Revenge is. Now it might have steered of course with Freddy coming into the real world but then again who are you or Wes Craven to say Freddy can't posses a person? But you see in the end it was about a kid who moved to Elm Street and had a Nightmare that came to life. Which none of the sequels actually had any Nightmares on Elm Street except for Freddy's Dead but this is the same movie that forgot Nancy existed and thought that it had been Freddy's house since the beginning of the series but i guess it was possible that Freddy used his new found ability to bend time and space and make people non existint but anyways "Freddy's Revenge" is the only one that actually sticks to the title as i expect that neither Rod nor Tina died on Elm Street
