the subtext never bugged me it was the product placement..nike, adidas, coke, nazis....also the yawning...actresses visably yawning...1st when jessie falls asleep in class the girl behind him in blue yawns...2nd when jessis and lisa are walking in the hall about to exchange the diary, karrie walks up behind them and b4 her first line she swallows a yawn...moments later she swallows a 2nd yawn...always bugged me..

also 1st scene kids get off bus..freddy kills two girls....then the scene where jessie falls asleep in class..those kids in the 1st bus dream sequence ARE IN THE CLASS...SO everyone in jessies class shared a dream and those 2 girls were killed AND NO ONES TALKING ABOUT IT, THEYRE FORGTTEN....- the kid that throws a wadded up piece of paper at jack black in the dream, is sitting in the front row of the class in real world....yet everyone forgets the 2 chicks?

and that skinny kid, background actor, with the hat..always with a hat...and fyi jessie has a ballcap on his bedpost later....perhaps a trophy?

I didn't notice anything Nazi related either. I think they mean product placement.

It's been ages since I've watched the second movie (and honestly I thought very badly of it) but maybe it was in a dream sequence? I do remember that Freddy was beginning to manifest in the real world, but maybe this was either still in the dream or something brought over during the manifestation?

Or heck, maybe they just wanted us to hate the character more (again, haven't watched the movie in years and maybe we were supposed to like him, I really don't remember).

Just because the two girls were in Jesse's dream doesn't mean that they were actually there
