Does anyone know if this was a real amusement park, tourist trap, whatever ...or was it completely fabricated for the film?

There used to be a Santa's Village in Dundee Il.

I thought was a weird choice of theme for the park as well but it did match the Uncle’s eccentric and silly character. He was a nice old guy, always dreaming.
