Anybody feel like this movie is missing alot to it?

I've noticed when I watched this a few days ago that something felt left out.You know like it was badly edited and alot of the footage was left on the cutting room floor.Or maybe it was too violent for an "R" rating.I have heard rumours about a longer cut of the film, but haven't found the proof yet.Does anybody know if there is cut footage and what exactly was it?This reminds me of another film called Once Upon A Time In America with Robert De Niro and James Woods. That was edited really badly for the USA audience, but not overseas.Eventually that cut re-surfaced here and it made a difference in the movie. Now I know these are two different types of films and probably shouldn't even be mentioned in the same topic, but I was just trying to make an example.

No word on what the missing scenes are.

I'd like to know this, too. I would assume the entire revenge sequence at the amusement park could've been 21 minutes longer. It actually could've been extremely gory and explicit, especially the pit bull attack, the resultant pit bull shooting, and the guy who was run over by the empty roller coaster.

I expected more with Sean S. Cunningham at the helm...

Interesting.

No I don't feel that, I was surprised by the realistic in your face violence that eventually came into play in the movie. Mind you I didn't know it was the director of Elm Street when I saw it, and it starts out harmless enough.

The plan is you drink a nice tall glass of shut the *beep* up.

You mean Friday the 13th, not Nightmare on Elm Street. That was Wes Craven.

Yeah that's what I meant 👍

We don't have a dog. That was just some really violent sex.
