When will this be released on DVD?

This is a wonderful and fun movie! I am surprised no Canadian company (since it is a Canadian film) has released this gem on DVD!

You can still get the VHS for a few bucks on Amazon.com or half.com.

Not a DVD, but not bad.

I loved this movie both times I saw it, 16 years apart. Now, I've lost my tape, and want a DVD!

It is a shame, but some films probably will never make it to DVD.

I bought a DVD recorder, and have been copying movies like this one (where no DVD is available) onto DVD's, keeping the VHS safe from wear. Some tapes have encoding, though, and I'm not able to record them. This one doesn't.

At least you can still get this one cheap. Try looking for One on One, Experience Preferred but not Essential, I Went Down, or Belfast Assassin. These all should be on DVD but you have to pay $20 or more just to get an old beat up VHS.

It's now been released on DVD from MGM as part of the Limited Edition DVD-R collection, which is similar to the Warner Archive.

Don't worry. It's not a bootleg.

It looks great, too. For a low budget Canadian film, the transfer is better than a lot of Hollywood films from the same era.
