Real men don't use terms like "chick flick". Nor do they care what labels silly people slap onto movies. They watch what they want to watch, like what they like, and don't give a spit what anybody else thinks.

This is a fine movie, with terrific characters played by top-notch actors. Good enough for this real man. (And my wife likes it too. :) )

Watch the scene when shes out on the porch telling him he needs to get his act together (after she had just met the young mom of his twins) and tell me if a man can enjoy this movie !! IMO Sally Field was smokin' hot - at almost 40 !!

I did, twice. And if it shows up again on TCM. I'll probably watch it.
I'm a sucker for James Garner films. He's like the Tom Selleck of the
50's, 60's, and 70's.
Throwing in Sally Field didn't hurt. She and James are good together.
