How old do you think Ingemar was in this? --and his brother?

How old was Ingemar in this film?

My guess would be 10 - 11 (typically 4th or 5th grade) but the guy sitting next to me in our retired faculty group showing this afternoon said "9." (And I'd also guess hisbrother was 6-8 years older.)

I graduated from the 8th grade in 1941 at age 13.

This film shows a sexual interest and activity that is younger than what I experienced (although my interest & activity has possibly always been higher than average).

I remember -- in probably the 6th grade (age 11?)-- skinny-dipping with girls but there wasn't any sexual play or contact at that time -- it was probably (IIRC) more of a curiosity-satisfying experience. Mutual sexual "feeling up" didn't occur until age 12 when my GF was babysitting.

How does this film fit with YOUR experiences and in what years?

I think Ingemar was older. In spite of his slight appearance I would say he was 11 or 12. His brother about 13 or 14.
