Whereabouts can he been seen in this? Has he ever acknowledged appearing in this movie? Sorry but I'm a bit skeptical about him being in this considering he'd have to be 4 or 5 when it was filmed and I don't recall seeing him anywhere.

Go to the 24:40 mark, and I believe that's him coming out of the ground in the suit. He has a mask on, but it's a child's body for sure. He appears again at the party at a 42:30, at 44:00. He's got a prosthetic mask on to appear as a monster, but it's obvious a child is playing the role. My assumption would be that that's him.
No. It's obvious it's a 'little person', as its Joe Gieb, even credited here on IMDB. Didn't move at all like a child.
