Spoilers..... I know it’s two years after you wrote. I thought it was entertaining enough to watch the whole way through. I liked the scenes of Miami and the Everglades from the mid-1980s. I agree with what other commentators were saying: (1) it seemed like the sole purpose of Mariel Hemingway was to start fights with Kurt Russel for the later apology scene and of course, to be a target to the murderer; there were a lot of decoy “jump scares” that were pretty befuddling; (3) it sure seemed like Russel and Hemingway were inexplicably frivolous with their personal safety. Hemingway knows there’s a serial killer who found out where she lives and has threatened her and Russel yet she allows a total stranger to help her with her broken down car? Some obviously silly conduct to set up the relatively predictable denouement. But, it did keep my attention and did not devolve into total silliness
