Deserves a bigger status

I personally think that this movie isnt getting that attention it truly deserves. It should be more out there.

This movie rocks! It has built up a nice cult following as did Michael Sopkiw.

I agree. Also, am I the only one that sees the brilliance of andy silas (China)? Where has he gone?

Yeah, I caught this by an accident on YouTube. I was surprised that it was made by the Italians, as it seems that much of the eighties exploitation fare that came out were derivative of American exploitation films and "Massacre in Dinosaur Valley" was somewhat original.

Agreed! Shriek Show has done a great job of making it available, but it should be more wildly known. It's one of the wildest, most entertaining b-movies I know of.

you hit on something that is totally true of this film. it is wild, extremely wild. they throw every single thing that they possibly can at you in this film. my gosh, you get: running from the cannibal natives, your plane going down in the jungle, partially naked models photoshoot, naked woman taking a shower.

also you get naked woman making out with man, topless blonde walking through a 1/4 of this film in the jungle, while being under stress and duress by the natives, woman getting cut by a native, a final epic and exciting battle between the crazy cult leader and the heroic and cool and funny and awesome tough guy main character, pigs cutting his ropes to set him free(who thinks of that?, that's so awesome).

snakes, being attacked, and killed by the natives by being shot with arrows and stun guns being shot at you, a woman who is really annoying getting caught in quick sand and then getting sucked all the way down, her husband not caring about this, lol, so awesome.

also you get tough guy fighting comically against a huge, towering tough guy in bar, and the funniest scene in the whole film, which is the scene where the piranhas attack and totally f up and tear away a man's legs. that was one of the funniest scenes in movie history. just the whole thing that is happening to him and his reactions were timeless and hilarious!

exactly. this film has it all! well, just about anyway. it satisfied and fulfilled me more than most movies that I have ever watched. it was so wildly entertaining and they always gave you something unique, diversified, and exotic that you usually don't see or experience in movies. at least to me, I felt this.

this film has so much variety of scenes and things happening and it always excites and entertains. there's always something wild and crazy going or arousing going on or being shown.

this film is a blast of creative and original and authentic and realistic energy. they put their hear and soul and minds and bodies fully into this film and had the balls and ambition to make it the best they could. which is so admirable and respectable. that is why it's better than most movies that have ever been made.
