IMO I thought Diana's parents were the worst of the two, I thought they came across very rude and passive aggressive towards Rocky while the student was more direct over how he felt about Rock's mask, I find passive aggressive behavior to be worse than being directly mean to someone.
shareIf I remember correctly the guy that told him to take off the mask actually believed he was wearing a mask. It would've been very uncommon to see anyone walking around with that particular problem so easy to jump to that conclusion.
The parents were obviously the worst... but then again many parents doubt anyone is good enough for their baby. Much less someone they think could pass along some negative genetic traits.
No, there was a scene in the school afterwards. As Rocky walks past, the kid says, “Man I wish that really was a mask, so you could take that off” Rocky pushes the kid against the locker. OP is referring to this part

Diana's parents strike me as people trying to fit in with the upper crust lifestyle and didn't want to be seen with people like Rocky, I think them trying to impress the upper crust people got in the way of their understanding and compassion towards those who aren't so well off in life.
I also thought Diana's parents came across more passive aggressive (which is worse than directly being a jerk IMO) towards Rocky
