8th graders that look like they are in there 30's

I wish they would of upped their age or hired actors that looked even close to Jr. High school kids. lol

People looked like that back then.

It was kind of two extremes back then. When I was in 8th grade, over half of us had not started puberty or barely into puberty. And you had a lot that looked like grown men or women. But nowadays teenager appearances start early and seem to stay all the way to 20-something.

Exactly! I remember when I was in school in the 80s, all the kids looked older. That's just the way it was....

They are actually in 9th grade (junior high often went up to 9th grade back then). But I do agree they look a bit old even for that, which is 14-15.
