Ok i have seen this movie for years and i understand the whole thing about having to omit some stuff but seems to me they really did a piss poor job .I get that this movie was about Rocky and did not have the siblings in it but you would think they would have got some stuff right like the year he died!

I think ikt's so sad how this family died.Rocky,then brother dies of AIDS and then mom dies of a ear infection for gods sake.

Probably would have made the movie too long. They just wanted to focus on Rocky's particular story. Also, I think his real mom died in a motorcycle accident?

I agree.They do that still with a lot of movies.I believe it was from some kind of infection after she was in the accident

Nobody cares about all of that mumbo jumbo! When you go to the zoo to see animals, do you care about the zookeeper's backstory???
