Why not on DVD?

I first saw this film as a kid. I watched it recently on Comedy Central and it held up pretty well. Though not as powerful as Hank's more notable works, Gump, Philly, Ryan, Volcano, it still is a good way to spend under 2 hours. It is a nice spy film spoof in the vein of a North by Northwest as one reviewer put it. It could at least be a filler disk for a Hanks DVD collection. Come on FOX!! I agree that the Thomas Newman soundtrack is cool. Does it even exist on CD or tape? Music 8/10. Lori Singer's Dress 9/10. Movie 7/10.

How does one acquire the soundtrack? Is it available on ebay or anything like that?

I advise in investing in a stand alone DVD burner and movie channels on sat. or cable. I just taped this one and rare quirky, fun, and stupid films like these can be up to $20... and this is at best a $10 BARGAIN BIN DVD...

It's available on DVD. I found my copy at Borders. I think Amazon should have a few, too. I think it has a few special features, too. No deleted scenes or anything, but it does have the trailer.

Saw it today in my Newton MA Stop&Shop. $10.

I hope they will release an expanded edition with isolated score if nothing else. I hope for too much, I know.

I just saw the DVD on eBay. And you are right, Lori's dress is awesome!!

I got the DVD free from Kellogg's. They have a free dvd offer for select cereals. Five certificates (i.e. - five boxes of cereal) and you send them in for one DVD out of about eight choices.

I've gotten a bunch of movies this way - I eat a lot cereal...

The best deal I've seen is at Wal-Mart. You can get it in a 3-pack of Tom Hanks DVDS. The other two are That Thing You Do and Bachelor Party.
