Jim Belushi's character played a joke on him. He took one of each of his shoes. He returns them when he comes over before the softball game.

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

Posts like ksf are pointless. If you know the answer then answer the question. It is less effort and more valuable to readers.
