I liked his work here. Why didn't he do more movies???? What's become of him?
I haven't seen My Own Private Idaho, but Streeter reminds me of Keeanu Reeves.
The film reminds me of Scorsese's TAXI DRIVER with a touch of Carol Reed's THIRD MAN.

To me He gives off a distinct River Phoenix vibe. a documentary on the dvd says 'The Third Man' was an influence on this film.

i guess no one knows what people respond to. )to me he's more river.) what i do know is that i obsessed over him all the way through the movie as much as he obsessed over johnny. his eyes are so foxy and kind, i wish i could see more of him.

In total agreement, the look,his personality, especially how cares for Pepper when he's sick and for Pepper to just order him to get a, what was it, Malt shake? Yeah, he left me feeling about him the way he felt about Johnny.
I still think he could have done the roles that Keanu played, Matrix for example, especially when he walks around wearing that long worn out trenchcoat.
Anyway, here's an actor that showed promise. Wish he'd read this and get in touch.
He reminded me more of River than Keanu looks-wise. But he didn't have the gentleness of River. In that sense, he was more like Keanu.
