The second half is even more visionary and brilliant than the first

The "kids" were handled very good. Just perfect. Their story, "society" and "religion" were fascinating and even a bit frightening. Top notch acting from everyone involved.

Bartertown's partial destruction and the chase scene were as much mindblowing and brilliant as the first 45 minutes of the movie.

The ending was epic and chilling.

This film is genius from start to finish. It's a modern classic of the Eighties. If you don't like the second part, well, you need to adjust your flawed and questionable movie taste.
