OK, I got caught misquoting in the other thread, (only two as of this post!)
But I'm pretty sure it's "You couldn't find yourself on a hundred thousand?"

Brooks tells the employment agent that he left his job because he wanted to change his life and the guy responds, "You couldn't change your life on a hundred thousand dollars?"

I'm pretty sure the dialog was:
Well, why did you leave your job?
I wasn't happy.
You couldn't be happy on a hundred thousand a year?

Happy. He went looking for America, not himself.

The most famous quote, at least to me, as I was sitting in a theater in 1985 when I heard it, and knew that was exactly what I had to do. I did it, and retired 23 years later from said company. This is how I remember it:

Albert: "I know what I must do."
Julie: "Yes"
Albert: "Eat *beep* and ask for my old job back."
