So, was anyone lucky enough to go into the Desert Inn before it closed and bet on 22? I did! Didn't win...

Did they offer to refund your money if you appeared in a feel-good ad for them?

Sadly, this film has a lot of Vega$ landmarks that I suspect are no longer there, and it hasn't even been 25 years since its release. I miss the dirty Vega$!

That scene with Brooks and Garry Marshall deserves its own Academy Award.

Yeah, Garry Marshall has the touch as an actor.

His performance in LIA is sincere and endearing.

I'd love to see many, many more just like it.

Other directors that have always had a magic touch in my opinion are Barry Levinson and Sydney Pollack.
