i cant disagree more. This was very funny. As long as you get past the stupid humor part of it.

Fast paced, good looking women. AND I DO MEAN GOOD LOOKING. IMHO :)

Wish it was out on dvd

reply

I thought it was pointless and stupid, but I liked it. It was a fun way of wasting an afternoon.

Here's another vote for the dvd! There are more "softcore porn" titles on dvd, how about this too?

You can take a horse to water, but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands.

reply

Yeah but that DVD is awful, it needs a proper release, remastered in Widescreen.

Wynorski's films like cormans 80's output had both eyes on the home video/tv market when shot(open matte) any widescreen edition would be a cropped top and bottom version of the fullscreen release.I'd like to see a better release myself with commentary by jim and anyone involved, deleted scenes etc..like some of his other films on dvd.

WRONG!

I have the widescreen version of the film it is seriously wider than the p&s 4:3 dvd.
Also many of Wynorskis films are shot HARD MATTE.
Not of this Earth & Return of Swamp thing CERTAINLY were.

Chopping Mall & Deathsalker 2 are Open-matte.

Hi, Jim Wynorski here, to let those who care know that a widescreen dvd(enhanced for 16X9) of THE LOST EMPIRE is finally on the way. Enhanced for 16X9 with plenty of extras and commentary.

reply

Sounds great Jim,i'd certainly like to hear your commentary for this film to have a little insight into what it was like working with Angela Aames and Angelique Pettyjohn in particular.
