The late Henry Mancini wrote The Pink Panther theme, the 'Baby Elephant Walk' theme, Nadia's Theme(from the soap opera The Young and the Restless), and more.
Mancini also wrote Lifeforce's epic, sweeping music score.

Correction: Barry De Vorzon and Perry Botkin Jr. composed Nadia's Theme. Mancini did a cover of it.
