Remake

Honestly a remake wouldn't be all bad. It would have to be made with a lot of class and respect for the original, by someone who clearly grew up with it and has a love for it as deep as any fan. Kinda like Peter Jackson with Lord of the Rings. It's an excellent story and I don't think it is reaching the newer generations. Moreover a remake done with that kind of love and respect could easily be another Narnia or LOTR. It's such an epic storyline and even though the original animation is amazing to see, it would be worthwhile to see it with modern day effects, it could really be brought to life and maybe immortalized. I'm all for the original though. This really would have to be a LOTR or Narnia, if this were like the Grinch remake I would be extremely bitter. I truly do think it is possible to remake it with the proper respect it deserves, who knows maybe someday they will.
