Anyone know the US title for this film?

I’ve heard the original British title had to be changed for the US market because an American mentality would interpret “Letter to Brezhnev” as being pro commie. Anyone know what the US title is?

By the way I like the scene where Brezhnev says to his secretary “Miss Jones take a Letter”. I don’t think it’s very likely a Russian secretary would be called Miss Jones no one seems to pick up on this.

It was not changed and it did quite well at specialised cinemas.

Yes, it was the same title. I remember seeing it on VHS. I have it on DVD now, and I still have the album on vinyl! Good times.

it came out on the Independent Film Channel or possibly Sundance Channel (or maybe even HBO) in the 1990s in the US, and it was called 'Letter to Brezhnev' then too.
