She was from Corpus and cut her long hair - she runs down stairs and says "She's here", and is also in a car scene and says "It's pouring out" We would rent it, get stoned and laugh our asses off...God I MISS the 80's...and Amanda Jenkins!!

shareI hear ya. We were asked to supply some background props. I was asked if I wanted to be in the movie, but I declined. However a captain friend of mine did take them up on the offer. He told me they had to run into that dumpster in the mall chase scene, about 30 times. Turns out that the director Robbins seemed more interested in us taking him sailing than shooting the movie. We moved away from Corpus after out son was born and everytime I am home sick for Corpus, this movie helps me through it. A lot of familiar faces and especially the locations that are special to our favorite Place in the whole world... and remember... SAILING IS THE BOAT SHOP.
