Did anybody actually see the movie?

I never did. My ass was in the US Army at the time, I thought that one night I would be doing a night parachute drop over Managua.

I saw it. It was pretty much Commie propaganda. I do have one question, though (SPOILER ALERT!). At the end of the movie when the Nicaraguan guy turns on the American special forces guy, points his gun at him right before the mission and takes him prisoner to be turned over to the Sandino Communists, why does the American strip down naked? Is that some procedure that right before you surrender you should take of all your clothes and walk naked into captivity? I didn't get that at all.

"Commie" propaganda? Compared to exactly how much corporitist/capitalist propaganda you see on a daily basis? The true nature of which probably flies right over your head? (Which is exactly what the engineers of successful propaganda intend to do as it takes over and controls your mind, your thoughts, your beliefs, tells you want to think is right from wrong.)

Indeed. I find it amusing when supporters of the capitalist system talk as if the capitalist has no propaganda, which is laughably naive. Almost every movie, advert and tabloid spin is in support of the capitalist system.

And say what you will about communism. Despite any evil act that might have been committed in its name, at least the core message is for everyone to work for the benefit of their fellow man as well as there own, whereas that of capitalism is simply to make a profit.
