This Should Have KRUSHED E.T. in Theaters...
Loki was right...
shareyup, but lost his ten dollars...

I'm not sure how hot either movie was during their original release; I was too young-- but I just watched this movie and it doesn't hold up against E.T.
Simon wears MomJeans and I have a love-hate relationship with Geico Cavemen.
Krush Groove came out like three years AFTER E.T. was in theaters, right?
shareIt's the joke thing running from Kevin Smith's movie. It's absurd that it would gross more than ET. That's the joke. It does'nt matter when it came out. Kevin be illin.

Time will tell on that.
Oddly enough one of my friends has seen Krush Groove, but not E.T.
How on earth can history get past people like me?share
I find Krush Groove better than E.T.
way better
just how I personally feel
that's all
Why do they have cult films?
You know what? *bleep* you, cause time's gonna tell on that one.
sharehahah I am watching dogma right now and came on here to see if anyone was talking about that haha.
shareComparing "E.T." to this is a joke. "E.T." was a boring stupid feel-good movie about an alledegly cute alien...and it was PG. This was a strong powerful music movie...and it's rated R. "Krush Groove"--good as it is--will never top "E.T." in terms of money and popularity. The R rating alone stops that.
shareWell lets be honest I own this and not ET. ET is a classic film I mean that *beep* was off the wall. ET is forever. This is a classic in its own way. I love old school hip hop I love all music Hip Hops not my favorite because of how much it sux now but I loved it then.
Im a film student and struggling college actor I think of a film based ET blows this out of the water.
i'm krushed it didn't turn out differently
but then again, i'm not so sure, lol - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msmDSxv5eO0

There's a very good reason this bombed. When it played in theatres back in 1985 audiences got out of control (for some reason) and there were lots of reports of teeangers fighting and going after members of the audience. How many of u would have gone to a movie where u might have gotten attacked? I think it was pulled out of a theatre here in Boston after 2 weeks because of the violence.
shareSeems like this film had the same problem with audience fighting that "The Warriors" had in 1979.
shareThere was a difference with "The Warriors"--the audience went after each other OUTSIDE the theatres not inside. Also "The Warriors" indirectly caused the death of two kids who were walking home and attacked by a group calling themselves The Warriors.
shareInteresting. Might have to look up some info on that.
