the belarus file

i found this on an original 1986 tape, nearly ruined my old beloved vcr. so there's a warning to you, maybe too late for me though. beware of old tapes that might have been on a renting shelf for a hundred years to put them in any machines you hold dear. this looked more like the series than the later movies, (haven't seen the 1987 though.), the crew, department etc. to think the movies actually went on for a longer time period than the actual classic series.
i tell you something strange, when the series of movies air on television, the first two (1985, 1987) never gets shown. this seem to be the only one released on vhs. so unless there is a dvd box released the 1987 flick seem pretty much done for.
the title seem to only be "the belarus file".

i thought you had alredy left town,
for the last while you're around,
gonna enjoy that smile,
and the loving atmosphere you bring by the gray sky,
the people here don't mean me any good,
and i'll feel alone, when you drop out of the neighborhood,
in a world that's gotten messed up,
and myself in a streak of bad luck,
spread a little last love on this dead ground,
before you walk out, of this foggy town.

In Germany they released the first two TV-movies "Belarus File" and "Price of Justice" on VHS.
I only have seen this two so far. I personally didn't liked "Price of Justice" that much, but "Belarus File" is really great. Very exciting and interesting storyline, great music and Captain Frank McNeil and Stavros are also in it. It's a pity that scarcely anybody know this movie.

really, i didn't know that. well thanks for that so called trivia there. i figure it's dubbed then since it's german. yes, looking at the reviews people seem to like this.

the girl leaves the potatoes half peeled,
couse soon we got to hit the street,
trouble is after me,
travel a way,
go down some dark mine rail,
as a demon is behind on our way,
trouble after me,
with unfair methods it seem,
put me in a floating aircraft,
nomather how you curse and say,
dark as the mine, bluer than the sky,
as i'm afraid you'll get in the badluck crossfire line,
girl, i'm sorry but all the efforts you make,
still nothing will make my trouble go away.
