There was a rumor going around that City Lights entertainment would be releasing a two-disk special edition of KOTSW exclusively on Amazon next month. For a few days, Amazon had a very vanilla page with an option to pre-order. Now the pre-order button is gone and we can only sign up to be notified when the DVD becomes available.
Anyone know what's going on?
The "preorder" button is now back with a release date of July 22, and it's available for download as well. Also, the City Lights website (http://www.citylightsmedia.com) has a blurb about it.
But I don't see anything about what's on the second disc.
Yes, I'm now very confused. An Amazon exlusive? Two-disc SE? Who's releasing it? Understand, Yoda does not. Throw me a frickin' bone here. I'm the buyer. Need the info . I need some information here!
Go to Criterion and ask them to work on Satyajit Ray films, a good Kwaidan rerelease.
