I'd been wanting to see this for a long time. I finally caught up with it on the Fox Movie Channel recently. It was terrible. Too much bike riding, (I hate bicycles) and no character development. Brooke Adams was better in the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Ben Masters was better in the wonderfully trashy miniseries Celebrity.
BRING OUT SEASON THREE OF "ONCE AND AGAIN" ON DVD!
Key Exchange is one of the worst movies ever. But it's competently done for the most part which makes it even less enjoyable. The acting is bearable and the film has some nice location work and is edited decently. But the writing is awful, it's never funny, and it's never at all entertaining. What's worse, Key Exchange thinks that it has something to say. It doesn't. Take for instance a scene where Ben Masters comes home to find Daniel Stern and Brooke Adams lying on the floor together and Masters is oblivious to the fact that they were just making out. It's never brought up again. Characters this idiotic don't deserve 95 minutes of our attention.
