Did anyone else find her annoying? She would whine about not being able to get a date, did she ever thing to do something for herself? Style her hair a little? Wear something that was NOT over-sized?

That was the style back then-wearing oversize sweaters and shirts. I thought that she was pretty-should of had a bigger part in the movie.

Munchkin doesn't like being pushed!

But she complained that the guys noticed Teri, and not her. There was a definite difference in how they dressed.

Your right. However, I still think that Denise is as pretty as Teri, maybe a little more wholesome? And Also, perhaps Teri gave Denise an inferiority complex?

Denise was hott. I think she just preferred older guys, like the guitar player at the end

I thought Denise was much prettier than Terri. I can't believe not one guy would talk to Denise but every guy fell all over Terri. And yes, big, oversized sweaters were totally in back then, as was the bob that Denise had. Every girl in my school had a bob back in 1986. The girls looked much more like Denise than Terri.

I would have talked her up and the doggy styled her in her bedroom. Then I would have made her do more fun stuff with me.

Nope - I like her character. I mean it was mostly just a girl talking with her bestie.

I had no problem with Denise's personality, and I thought she was really pretty.

Her hair was perfect. Had eyes for only her when this movie came out.

Her character was formally overweight, so she still had self esteem issues.
