Yeah, that is pretty interesting; William Zabka had the bully role nailed down in the mid 1980's. You wanted a jerk? Call Zabka.
I really do believe Sherilyn Fenn's Sandy character (who I thought was rather sweet, and you have to love her potential sex drive) was on point saying that Terry looked like The Karate Kid, especially since Danial-san also had soft features.
It was nice seeing Fenn in one of her earliest roles. If you appreciate her, she stars in "Two Moon Junction" (1988), which -- if you can ignore the "sexploitation" element (or roll with it) -- is actually an entertaining Southern Gothic with a worthy script and the social mindfood thereof (there's a hypnotic quality to some of the proceedings). Kristy McNichol has a notable peripheral role as a street-smart trucker and, believe it or not, outshines Fenn in her limited time in the picture.
