call me crazy but I would of gone with harry

I so wanted to slap Natty for not doing that lol. Then again that's me being biased, I've had a thing for Mr. Cusack since I saw him in Anastasia. Now I'm 23 and he still drives me crazy. I don't know what it is but there is just something about him that absolutely intrigues me......and I like it. :-) I wish they would show this on tv, great film

Wow you weren't even born when this film came out , I was 20 slightly older than John Cusack who was 19 at the time this movie was filmed and no way would I have even thought about a 12yo girl in that way , ok Meredith Salenger was 15 at the time but still a child playing a child. It surprises me they had a light romantic subplot between them as Harry while not saying what his true age was is obviously a grown man and not a kid.

For her to go with him would have also made no sense and would have been a contrived ending since the whole point of the movie was for her to find her self as well as her father.
One thing though that did make me think she and Harry would have been reunited is the fact she kissed him when he left on the bus and started writing him a letter later in the movie about how much she missed him. I'd prefer though that in that reality she would have grown up a few years ,at least be 17 or 18 before pursuing anything.

I too think I would've gone with Harry. I really wanted Natty to go with him. Oh, and I wasn't born either when this movie came out! :-)
