That movie had me in tears !!

I saw it in 1990, as part of the programmes commemorating the 10th anniversary of John Lennon's death.

I was 13 yrs old but had bean a Beatles fan for quite some time, I knew the story and how it ended, and I really wasn't the kind of girl who cried in front of a movie... Much less so with other people watching it with me (my stepdad was there, too).
Yet when I heard the gunshots I stared at the screen for a while, then got up and made my way out of the living-room as calmly as I could, but before I got to the door I burst into tears. It took my mum and stepdad several minutes to calm me down, but even afterwards, as I got into bed I cried for ages...

I'd really like to see it again though. 22 years have now passed, I think I could manage it without shedding a tear this time. ;-)

You are so sweet. I was in tears on the 8th of Dec. 1980 when they announced it on the late night news.
