Three English dubbed versions (comparison)

There's at least three English dubbed versions of this film.
I'm in the UK and grew up watching the VHS version where hes called Kevin and has music by Kevin Bassinson. This is definitely my favorite version. The music is good and the dubbing is done well. Sadly I don't think its ever been released on DVD.
Bought myself a brand new VHS copy (factory sealed VHS in 2016, wow!) and converted it to DVD. It was by 4FrontVideo.

This does have scenes cut from it though, such as:
the guy at beginning panicking with Jackie trying to calm him down.
Extended scene with the guy trying to scare Selina. (only some added seconds)
Extra scene at the court before Jackie's character arrives.
Phone scene
Extended scene where Jackie's about to be arrested. (Before taking the chief hostage).

I've only seen clips of the New Line Version so can't compare it much.
From what I've read it sounds as if it has the same scenes cut.
Soundtrack is also different and done by J.Peter Robinson.
From the clips I've seen the guy dubbing Jackie sounds slightly Indian and Jackie is called Jackie.

The new dub (which I've seen from the Hong Kong Legends release) has the same music as the Cantonese version is uncut and is called Jackie.

If anyone else grew up watching the original UK dub you'll understand why I prefer it. I find that the music goes with it better than the Cantonese soundtrack. Such as the shoot out at the beginning, the bus scene, music where Jackie's friend is trying to scare Selina. This version also does not start playing the theme song until the credits start. Where in the new version / Old Cantonese version, the theme starts playing while Jackie's trying to hit the bad guy.

I left a reply on your youtube video, but I wanted to see if I could reach you here just in case you didn't check, but I've been looking for a dvd/bluray/digital version of the UK cut for a while! It was actually released here in the US under the alternate title "Jackie Chan's Police Force." Do you have it available for purchase or download? Thanks!

I love the old UK dubs that used to be on the video releases. But ever since they've been remastered (and had scenes put back into them) they've completely redubbed them (to accommodate the extra material) I used love the (almost, cockney) accents found in 'Drunken Master, 'Young Master', 'Dragon Lord' and 'Police Story' (they add to the charm)

However, I found that there's certain U.S (budget) DVD labels, that (whilst not remastered) have taken direct ports from these old VHS versions (and are likely illegal or 'public Domain' at best) but so far I've found DVDs of Dragon Lord and Young Master for peanuts on E-Bay (as long as you get them on these dodgy Dollar-store labels) and whilst they're not the best (picture-quality-wise) they'll last slightly longer than worn-out VHS versions?
